Collective Urban Research

for Cities conducts collaborative research with practitioners, designers, and researchers around the world to explore the overlooked and the emerging in urban life.

Through this initiative, we aim to build an evolving “urban dictionary” — a living archive of local practices, projects, and stories that rarely appear in mainstream academic or institutional frameworks. By gathering these fragments of knowledge, we hope to expand the vocabulary of how cities are understood, designed, and lived.

Our goal is to build a global community of urbanists who share, question, and reimagine what cities can be — beyond established theories and dominant narratives.
